Challenging Times: COVID 19 and Your Business

At the risk of being redundant, CAPSTONE wishes all our friends, family and business associates the very best of health during these trying times. As we are all being inundated with data and information, we continue to monitor the development in Washington and urge you, regardless of your current financial position, to enter and maintain dialogue with your business banker.

Our immediate understanding is there will be significant opportunity to gain government assistance whether it be through an SBA loan or a grant based on the documented impact that the virus has had on your business. This will apply to businesses regardless of their legal status, to include sole proprietorships and independent contractors.

While we wait on final directives from the government and the subduing of COVID-19, it’s important that we all take this time to complete tasks we have procrastinated on and develop plans for moving forward. I encourage all of us to be prepared to charge forward once the pandemic is over and not like the hesitant prairie dog who simply sticks his head out to see what’s going on. Let’s all be prepared to charge out of the gates once the starter’s gun is fired.

In the meantime, if there is anything we can do to help you, even if it’s being used as a sounding board, please feel free to contact one of us: Chuck, Sam, Jim, James or me.

Blessings to all,
